I specialize in:
- Clothing repairs & alterations of all kinds - I mend rips and tears, patch holes, fix and/or install zippers, adjust sizing to make clothing fit again, as well as, pretty much any other typical (and non-typical) repair that someone may need.
- I upcycle old items that were previously destined for the trash by combining them to create something completely new and unique. I hate having to toss out favorite items because they've become too damaged to wear as they were made and enjoy the challenge of finding a way to bring them back to life. In doing so, I am able to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are not only stylish but also environmentally friendly, as they help to reduce waste and promote sustainability, things that are very important to me, and entirely too uncommon in our current throwaway/disposable culture.
- I also create brand new clothing items of all kinds from scratch...Anything from a simple t-shirt to a full on custom outfit, and everything in between. I can make clothing from premade patterns that are brought to me, or I can create a pattern using an existing piece of clothing. I can even take your measurements and work with you to create a custom pattern based on something you've envisioned in your head.
- Basically, no matter what your needs may be, I am prepared and happy to tackle any and all sewing tasks that I am presented with. I enjoy every opportunity to refine and perfect my skills, therefore, love taking on each new challenge, no matter how difficult it may be.
